Note: Please be aware that our Cobana bean bag chair is stuffed with EPS beads when you receive it. Therefore, the chair may feel a bit hard the first couple of times you use it. The beads will get softer after a couple of weeks of use, and the chair will feel very comfortable. The hard filling ensures that the bean bag chair will hold its shape for longer.
Note: The handle at the back of the chair is only a decorative detail and should not be used when you move the chair. We recommend that you grab the whole chair when you want to move it. Violently pulling the handle on the back of the chair can cause damages to the fabric.
Maintenance
After it has rained (or when you know rain is coming), we advise you to tip the chair over so that the water can run out, and the chair will be dry in no time as the fabric does not absorb the water. We recommend that you protect your chair against the cold by keeping it inside during the Winter.
We recommend cleaning the beanbag chair with our Textile Cleaner. Even though the cover can be detached, we do not recommend that you wash it as the hand-sewn stitches along the chair's edge can get damaged by being washed in a machine.

How quickly does Cobana Lounge Chair dry?
It varies depending on the weather. It dries quickly in sun, heat and wind. If it's cloudy and cold it will take longer :) You can tilt the chair so the water runs off.
Can Cobana Lounge Chair tolerate water?
Yes, it can. The fabric is made of the 100% synthetic Olefin material, which doesn't become mouldy due to moisture.
Is the filling in Cobana Lounge Chair non-toxic?
Yes, all of our filling is 100% non-toxic!
Can Cobana Lounge Chair be outside the whole year?
Yes, it can. However, we recommend that you take it inside through the winter.
Does Cobana Lounge Chair fade in the sun?
No, it doesn't. Our Cobana Lounge Chair is made of a synthetic material that does not fade in the sun
If Cobana Lounge Chair is outside and it starts to rain, what do I do?
Cobana Lounge Chair can withstand water but you can tip the chair so the rain runs off the chair more easily
Can I refill the chair if I want it harder?
Yes you can here. It is possible to buy extra eps balls. The Cobana beanbag chair can lose a little fullness over time, which is why we recommend refilling for optimal comfort.
Can I wash the cover on the chair?
Yes, but not in the washing machine. We recommend cleaning the beanbag chair with our Textile Cleaner.
What is the seat height of the Cobana Lounge Chair?
It is 40cm in height.
Can Cobana Lounge Chair tolerate salt water?
Yes, the chair can withstand both salt water and chlorinated water.
What is the difference between your beanbag chairs?
Our beanbag chairs have two types of filling.

No, it can't. No organisms can live in the fabric of our Cobana

It depends a lot on how much filling your beanbag chair is missing. For reference, there is 350L in a new stuffed beanbag chair.

How do I use the product?
Spray onto the dirty surface* from a distance of approximately 20 cm. Leave for 2 minutes. Wipe off the surface with a clean, damp cloth. SACKit Textile Cleaner is approved for use on all SACKit furniture with textile – except for leather.
* We recommend testing the product on a hidden spot.

The Cobana bean bag chair has been internally assembled of two individual inner bags linked together by Velcro. When you sit down on one of them, the other will be pushed up to support your back. Everything is better when the sun shines – fortunately, that is what we think as well! For this reason, this product is made of a synthetic material that does not fade in the sun, and Cobana Lounge Chair is, therefore, a perfect bean bag chair for the garden or the patio. However, you should still remember to bring your own sun lotion!
The Cobana fabric has a lightfastness of 7-8, where 8 is the best on the lightfastness scale.
