Chair no. One S2 is the more embracing version of the Chair no. One series. Two shells provide a deeper, more enveloping seat, designed for long meals and intensive daily use – and it works just as well around a dining table as in a meeting room.

The chair can be chosen with a cast aluminium swivel base with 360-degree rotation – with or without return swivel – and customised across sackit's full range of materials, with a choice of both material and frame.

Our Chair no. One S2 has been given a customised look in the showroom at Laksen Sporting, which has a soft spot for checked tweed.

We chose to seek a collaboration with sackit because we find sackit's design expression clean, functional and without unnecessary frills. It is clearly Scandinavian and signals quality. That is something we want to be associated with in our house. Considering how complicated it is to upholster chairs with our own checked fabric, I was actually a little nervous about the result. That was completely unfounded. The pattern matching and the general quality and finish are excellent.
