Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in euros (EUR), unless another currency is expressly shown. Prices for consumer deliveries within the EU include applicable VAT. Delivery charges and any other charges payable to us are shown before you place your order.
You can use the payment methods offered at checkout. Any payment-provider terms, instalment arrangements or payment deadlines are displayed when you select the relevant payment method.
For card payments, the amount is normally authorised when you place your order and charged when the goods are dispatched. The authorisation period depends on your card issuer. Contact your bank if an authorisation has not been released.
Some payment methods may require payment before dispatch. Any such arrangement will be disclosed before you complete your purchase. We will not charge more than the amount you have authorised.
Payment details are handled through secure payment services.
Shipping and delivery
We dispatch orders from Denmark. Delivery within the EU normally takes 2–5 working days, unless a different timeframe is stated for the product or your order. Delivery options, availability and charges are shown at checkout.
Delivery times outside the EU vary by destination. Please contact info@sackit.dk if you need further information.
For deliveries outside the EU, local import duties, import taxes and carrier clearance charges may be payable by you unless expressly included in the price. Where these cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will inform you before purchase that additional charges may apply.
If delivery is delayed or an ordered product is unavailable, we will contact you. An alternative product will only be supplied with your agreement.
Your rights in the event of delayed or failed delivery remain unaffected. Where the legal conditions are met, you may require delivery, cancel the purchase and receive a refund, and claim any other remedies available under applicable law.
If you are unavailable for home delivery, smaller parcels may be redirected to a nearby collection point. For larger furniture, we or the carrier will contact you to arrange delivery.
Furniture deliveries are made to the kerbside at the agreed delivery address. Carrying goods inside is not included unless agreed in writing beforehand.
Responsibility during transport
Where we arrange delivery, the risk of loss or damage normally remains with us until you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically receive the goods. Any statutory exception for a carrier independently commissioned by you applies only where the relevant legal conditions are met.
If you expressly authorise unattended delivery to a specified location, delivery will be handled in accordance with that agreement and applicable law.
Checking your delivery
We recommend checking the packaging and goods when they arrive. If you notice damage, take photographs where possible and contact us promptly. You may also record visible damage with the carrier or refuse a seriously damaged delivery.
Failing to inspect the goods immediately, obtain a carrier's acknowledgement or report damage within a few days does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
30-day right of withdrawal
sackit offers consumers 30 days to withdraw from a purchase of any item without giving a reason. This extends the statutory 14-day withdrawal period.
The period is calculated from the day after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods. If several goods ordered together arrive separately, the period is calculated from receipt of the final item.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement before the 30-day period expires. You can email info@sackit.dk or use our withdrawal form. Using the form is optional.
Any statutory extension of the withdrawal period resulting from missing mandatory information remains applicable.
Refusing delivery or leaving a parcel uncollected does not, by itself, constitute notice of withdrawal. Please tell us clearly if you wish to cancel.
Returning goods after withdrawal
Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before it expires.
Returns are sent to Denmark. Contact us for return instructions and the appropriate return address. You can also send your withdrawal notice to the business address listed above.
You bear the direct return costs if we informed you of this before purchase. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the return cost or a reasonable estimate must be disclosed before purchase. If the required information was not provided, we bear those return costs.
Package the goods securely and keep evidence of dispatch. Original packaging is recommended where available but is not a condition of exercising your right of withdrawal. We do not impose an automatic repackaging fee because original packaging is missing.
Returns should be sent with delivery to the agreed return address, rather than to a collection point or cash on delivery. These practical instructions do not limit your statutory rights.
Handling and condition of returned goods
You may inspect and handle the goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you normally could in a shop.
You are only liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose, and only where the required information about withdrawal was provided. Any deduction must reflect the actual diminished value.
The same handling and refund conditions apply during sackit's extended 30-day withdrawal period.
Refunds
When you withdraw from the entire purchase, we refund the payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional costs arising from a more expensive delivery option you selected are not refundable.
Any lawful deduction for diminished value may be made from the refund.
We refund you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have supplied evidence of return dispatch, whichever occurs first, unless we have offered to collect the goods ourselves.
Refunds use the same payment method as the original purchase unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged a refund fee.
Faulty goods and your statutory rights
Consumers buying goods in the EU have a legal right to remedies from the seller, free of charge, where the goods do not conform to the contract. The legal guarantee provides protection for at least two years from delivery. Applicable national law may provide a longer period or additional rights.
Goods must meet applicable legal requirements, including matching their description and having the quality, functionality and durability you can reasonably expect.
You may request repair or replacement under the conditions set by applicable law. These remedies must be provided free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Where the legal conditions are met, you may request a price reduction or termination of the purchase and a refund.
Applicable national rules concerning evidence, notification deadlines and extensions of protection following repair remain in force. Statutory rights may continue after the commercial warranty has expired.
Contact info@sackit.dk to report a problem. Include your order number or other evidence of purchase and, where possible, a description and photographs of the fault. We recommend written communication to keep a record, but we do not disregard a valid claim solely because it was first made verbally.
We will agree the next steps with you, including any necessary collection or return. Necessary transport, labour and material costs for a valid statutory claim are covered by us.
An original paper receipt, product registration or original packaging is not an absolute requirement for a claim, provided the purchase can be established and returned goods are packaged safely.
Further information is available at Your Europe: legal guarantees for consumers.
2-year sackit warranty on all products
sackit provides a free two-year commercial warranty on furniture, accessories, electronics and lamps purchased by consumers from sackit.eu. It starts on the day you receive the product and covers material and manufacturing defects under normal private use.
The warranty applies to products delivered to countries served by sackit.eu. The warranty provider is sackit ApS at the address listed above.
For a covered defect, we arrange free repair or replacement, including necessary transport, labour and materials. If neither solution is possible, we offer an appropriate price reduction or refund. An alternative product may be supplied with your agreement.
Once you have demonstrated a defect within the warranty period, we must substantiate any claim that it falls outside the warranty.
Warranty exclusions
The commercial warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear, including normal wear of fabric, upholstery and decorative stitching.
- Misuse, accidents or external damage.
- Inadequate maintenance or storage contrary to the product's care instructions.
- Modifications or third-party materials that caused the fault or damage.
- Use or loading beyond what can reasonably be expected under normal private use.
Normal compression of bean bag filling over time is not a manufacturing defect. Filling can be topped up with additional EPS beads if needed.
Modifications, third-party materials or signs of wear do not automatically invalidate the warranty. We assess whether they caused the fault being claimed. Material and manufacturing defects in upholstery or decorative stitching remain covered.
These exclusions do not limit your statutory rights.
Registration extension
Register your product to receive six additional months of commercial warranty on the same terms, giving a total of 30 months from delivery. Registration is optional and is not required for the standard warranty or statutory rights.
Earlier warranties
If a longer warranty was included or promised when you purchased your product, it remains valid under the terms applicable to that purchase. These updated terms do not shorten previously granted warranties.
See our warranty page for the full warranty terms and claims procedure. The commercial warranty does not affect your legal right to free remedies from the seller.
Price errors and unavailable goods
If we identify a pricing error, incorrect product information or an availability issue, we will contact you promptly. We will not change the price of a concluded contract without your agreement.
Obvious errors that you knew or reasonably should have recognised are assessed under applicable law. If a purchase is lawfully cancelled, payments received will be refunded. Your mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Discount codes and gift cards
Discount-code and gift-card conditions are disclosed with the relevant offer. Normally, one discount code can be used per order unless stated otherwise. A newsletter sign-up discount can be used once per person.
If an offer or gift card is deliberately misused, we may reject or cancel the affected order to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not remove your statutory rights or permit us to retain payments without a lawful basis.
Privacy
We process personal information to fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide customer service and meet legal obligations.
Details of how we use and retain information, who receives it and your data-protection rights are set out in our privacy policy.
For privacy enquiries, contact info@sackit.dk.
Third-party buyer protection
If your purchase qualifies for a third-party buyer-protection scheme, such as PriceRunner Buyer Protection, that protection is governed by the provider's current eligibility requirements and terms.
Any such protection is additional to your rights against sackit and does not replace your statutory rights or our warranty. Check the provider's terms for applicable coverage, limits and claim procedures.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Please first contact info@sackit.dk so we can try to resolve your complaint.
If we cannot reach a solution, you may submit a complaint to the Danish Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints and, where applicable, the Consumer Complaints Board, provided the relevant eligibility conditions are met.

Consumer complaint information
For a cross-border EU purchase, you can also seek assistance from the European Consumer Centre in your country. Information about available dispute-resolution services is provided through the European Commission's Consumer Redress portal.
Nothing in these terms restricts your right to bring a claim before a competent court or benefit from mandatory protections under applicable law.
Updated: 1 October 2026. Changes do not reduce rights or warranties already granted for earlier purchases.
