Ceiling lamps
Ceiling lights play a central role in both lighting and interior design. They create the right atmosphere and emphasize the style of the room. At sackit, you'll find modern ceiling lights that combine functional light with elegant design - perfect for the living room, kitchen or bedroom.
Expo Ceiling sits close to the ceiling and has a lamp head that turns 360 degrees and tilts. The pendants in the Dawn series give glare-free light down onto the table. See all our pendant lights. For advice on a specific room, see living room lighting, kitchen lighting, dining room lighting, bedroom lighting and hallway lighting.
FAQ – Frequently asked questions
How high should a pendant hang?
As a rule of thumb, 60–70 cm above a dining table and a little higher over a kitchen island. Where people walk underneath, it should hang high enough to pass under comfortably. See dining room lighting.
Does Expo Ceiling suit a low ceiling?
Yes. Expo Ceiling is 14.5 cm high and sits close to the ceiling.
Which bulb do the ceiling lamps need?
Expo Ceiling and Expo Pendant take a GU10 bulb such as Bulb GU10. Dawn takes an E27 bulb such as Bulb 6W E27. The lamps come without a bulb.
Can the ceiling lamps be dimmed?
Yes, with a smart bulb. Dawn and Expo work with smart bulbs, but sackit's own Bulb GU10 cannot be dimmed in the Expo lamps.
How is a pendant mounted?
Dawn is screwed to the ceiling with two screws in the included ceiling cup, and instructions are included. We recommend having a qualified electrician connect a ceiling lamp to the mains. See all pendant lights.
