sackit lounge chairs are designed in Denmark with roots in North Jutland. Each chair is developed with a focus on comfort, materials and long-term use, so it becomes a natural part of everyday living, indoors or out.
Outdoor lounge chairs
Our outdoor lounge chairs are made from weather-resistant materials such as olefin textile, powder-coated aluminium and teak. The range includes Mollis Lounge Chair, Kirra Lounge Chair, Kirra Patio Lounge Chair and sackit Chair Outdoor.
Indoor lounge chairs
Our indoor lounge chairs are created for the living room, with soft shapes and textiles developed for the home. The range includes sackit Chair Indoor with cold foam and Favn Lounge Chair with oak legs.
Lounge chairs for both indoor and outdoor use
Cobana Lounge Chair is the sackit signature model and works both indoors and outdoors. It is made from 100% synthetic olefin that is water-repellent, quick-drying and resistant to moisture and fading. It is also available as Cobana Lounge Chair & Pouf and as a junior version for children.
How to choose between an indoor and outdoor lounge chair
- Placement: If the chair will stay outside during the season, choose weather-resistant materials. For the living room, you can choose softer textiles.
- Materials: Outdoor lounge chairs are made to handle rain, moisture and UV light. Indoor lounge chairs use textiles focused on softness and a tactile surface.
- Comfort: Look for good back support, and consider a pouf so you can put your feet up.
- Space: Measure the area before you choose, so the chair fits without taking up too much room.
Can an outdoor lounge chair be used indoors?
Yes. Outdoor lounge chairs work well indoors, and Cobana Lounge Chair is designed for both. The durable olefin textile is easy to keep clean in everyday use.
Can an indoor lounge chair be used outdoors?
We do not recommend it. The textiles on indoor lounge chairs are not developed to handle rain, moisture and sunlight, and the chair may be damaged outside.
