It builds on everything that made the original bean bag popular, but in a firmer and more shape-retaining version. This is not a classic bean bag with a loose inner bag of beads. The filling is integrated into the construction, helping the chair maintain its shape while providing stable support for your back and body.

Inside, it is still filled with beads. Over time, they naturally compress, making the chair softer. That is part of the comfort. If it feels too flat, you can easily refill it and restore the volume. This keeps it flexible and long-lasting.

Cobana Lounge Chair is made from durable, water-repellent and lightfast fabric with a lightfastness rating of 7 to 8 on a scale from 1 to 8. It can stay outside all summer in sun and rain and works equally well indoors. It is also available in a dedicated indoor version and can be complemented with a matching pouf.

Note: The Cobana bean bag chair is firmly filled when delivered, so it may feel slightly firm at first. After a short period of use, the beads will settle and the chair will become softer and more comfortable. The firm filling helps the chair maintain its shape over time.

Note: The handle on the back is a decorative detail and is not intended for carrying. Please lift the entire chair when moving it. Pulling the handle may damage the fabric.

Maintenance

After rain, or when rain is expected, we recommend tipping the chair so water can run off. As the fabric does not absorb water, it dries quickly. We recommend storing the chair indoors during winter to protect it from cold conditions.

For cleaning, we recommend our Textile Cleaner. Although the cover is removable, we do not recommend machine washing, as the hand-sewn seams may be damaged.

How quickly does Cobana Lounge Chair dry?

It depends on the weather. It dries quickly in sun, heat and wind. In cooler or cloudy conditions, it takes longer. You can tilt the chair to help water run off.
