Pebble is designed by C.F. Møller Architects and combines functional light above the table with ambient lighting in the room. The downward light illuminates the table surface, while the upward light lets you work with both white light and colour profiles. With the sackit Light app, you control the two light directions separately and adjust the lighting for work, dinner or a quiet evening.

The design is a softer interpretation of the classic linear pendant. The inspiration comes from a pebble, a small stone that has been smoothed and rounded over time by the movement of water. This idea is reflected in the lamp’s rounded end pieces in FSC®-certified oak (FSC® C190311). They add warmth and a form that invites touch, giving the precise aluminium profile a softer, friendlier expression.

Pebble is made to be a visible part of the interior. Suspended from two thin, black wires, the lamp forms a calm line above the dining table or meeting table, where the materials and rounded details give it its character.

  • Light up and down, controlled separately – adjust the lighting above the table and the mood in the room independently of each other.
  • Adjustable light via app – control brightness and colour temperature, and choose colour profiles for the upward light.
  • Aluminium and FSC-certified oak – a precise metal profile with softly rounded end pieces in real wood.
  • High colour rendering – CRI 91 provides a natural reproduction of the colours around the table.
  • Anti-glare lens – the downward light has a lens that reduces glare and directs the light towards the table surface.

Materials

Aluminum

Aluminium is a lightweight and strong material that offers great design flexibility. Its low weight makes it easy to work with and handle, while its high strength ensures stability and structural integrity over time. This allows us to create slim profiles and precise details without compromising construction.

The material is naturally corrosion-resistant, as it forms a protective oxide layer on the surface. This makes aluminium robust in daily use and resistant to environmental impact. At the same time, it has a clean, technical appearance that supports a simple and well-considered design language.

That is why we have chosen aluminium. It allows us to combine lightness, strength and a clear design expression in products made to last.

Oak Wood & Oak Veneer

Oak is one of the most widely used and valued materials in Danish furniture design. Known for its strength, durability and distinctive grain patterns, oak is a natural choice for furniture made to withstand everyday use while maintaining a refined appearance over time. Its light structure and warm tone create a calm, honest expression that fits naturally into both classic and modern interiors.

Oak veneer shares the same visual qualities as solid oak while allowing for a more stable and resource-efficient construction. A considered choice where aesthetics, function and durability go hand in hand.

Light in two directions

Pebble works with light in two directions. The downward light provides precise and comfortable light over the table surface, while the upward light creates atmosphere in the room. With app control, you adapt the light to the situation, from focused task lighting to a softer, more atmospheric light around the dining table.

Light for work, meals and atmosphere

A table is used for many different things throughout the day. With Pebble, the light can keep up. Adjust the downward light from warm to cool white, and adapt the brightness to work, meals or conversation around the table.

The upward light offers yet another way to shape the lighting in the room. Use white light to support the rest of the lighting, or choose a colour profile that gives the room a different mood. The two light directions are controlled individually, so you can keep good light above the table while dimming or changing the light around it.

Anti-glare provides comfortable light with less glare

Linear luminaires can cause glare when the light source is directly visible from your seat at the table. Pebble has an anti-glare lens that shields the downward light and directs it towards the table surface. This reduces glare, so you get good light on your food or work while still being able to look up and talk to the people opposite you without disturbing light in your eyes.

Design with character

Pebble is made for the dining table at home and the meeting table at work. The slim aluminium profile and the softly rounded oak end pieces give the lamp a simple expression with warmth and character. A design that takes its own place in the interior while allowing a clear view between the people seated around the table.

See colours as they are

The colour rendering of light affects how food, textiles and materials look. With low colour rendering, colours can appear dull or change character, even when the light is bright enough.

Pebble’s downward light has high colour rendering with a CRI of 91. This means that colours are reproduced naturally, so the nuances of food, the tones of wood and the colours of textiles come through clearly. It makes a difference both at the dining table and at the meeting table, where you need to be able to assess colours in samples, images and materials.

Pebble - Linear pendant with uplight & downlight

With Pebble, C.F. Møller Architects set out to give the classic linear luminaire a softer shape and a more distinct character. The precise aluminium profile meets rounded oak, inspired by stones worn smooth by water. The combination gives the lamp a simple, Scandinavian expression with warm and distinct materials.
