This is not a classic bean bag. Inside, it’s built with cold foam, giving you a more stable and supportive seating experience. The filling consists of shredded foam in a water-repellent polyester bag, so the chair keeps its shape, even with everyday use.

The cover is made from materials designed for outdoor living. Kirra in olefin is built for sun, wind and weather, with high lightfastness and long durability. Materials that don’t ask you to pack everything away at the first sign of rain.

What is the seat height of the sackit Chair Outdoor?

How do I assemble the sackit Chair & Pouf Outdoor correctly?

The product is delivered vacuum-packed with the foam bag separated from the cover. To ensure correct assembly, the elements are marked with coloured labels. Always make sure the matching coloured labels meet when placing the foam bag inside the cover.

If the foam bag is inserted incorrectly, rainwater may collect inside the chair instead of running off. It only takes a moment to check and helps ensure the chair performs as intended outdoors.

Is the sackit Chair & Pouf Outdoor waterproof?

No. The chair is water-repellent, not waterproof. The olefin cover and water-repellent polyester inner bag help resist moisture and dry quickly, but during prolonged or heavy rainfall, water may eventually penetrate the materials.

For that reason, the chair is not intended for permanent exposure to heavy rain without protection.

How do I make sure the chair stays dry?

During periods of heavy rain or when the chair is not in use for longer periods, we recommend using a cover. A cover helps protect the chair from moisture and extends its lifespan, especially during winter storage or extended outdoor exposure.

Cold foam in water-resistant polyester liners is a flexible and durable filling solution well suited for outdoor furniture. The cold foam consists of recycled foam remnants that are given new life, without compromising comfort or performance.

The foam is enclosed in water-resistant polyester liners that reduce moisture absorption in the filling and absorb water more slowly than traditional fillings. This allows the furniture to maintain its shape and dry faster after outdoor use.

The loose structure makes the filling adaptable and comfortable, shaping naturally to the body while remaining robust enough for repeated use. It can easily be fluffed back into shape and retains its functionality over time.

Olefin

Most of our outdoor fabrics, including Kirra, Cobana and Reesse, are made from olefin, a material that is particularly well suited for outdoor living. Olefin is available in different qualities, and we have chosen one of the best on the market from Sunproof, ensuring that the material maintains both its color and strength over time, even with intensive use and exposure to sun and weather.

The material is developed to withstand the demands of outdoor use and is characterized by:

  • Color fastness of 7–8 on a scale of 8, meaning the material will not fade in the sun in practice
  • High UV resistance, preventing the material from degrading over time when exposed to sunlight
  • Resistance to mold, mildew, stains, and abrasion
  • Water-repellent and quick-drying properties, making it suitable for changing weather conditions
  • Also used in maritime environments, among the most demanding conditions, underlining its durability

sackit Chair Outdoor is delivered compressed and vacuum packed. This reduces transport volume and ensures more efficient shipping. When you open the packaging, the chair expands, and the filling needs a little help to settle into place.

The compressed foam must be loosened and distributed to reach its full volume. Make sure the correct cushions are placed properly in the cover to achieve the right balance and support. This process is important for the final result. Once the filling is in place, you have a shape-retaining and comfortable chair, ready for use in your outdoor space.
