Soft Sofa Pouf is a flexible and comfortable addition to outdoor spaces. It can be used on its own as a footrest, an extra seat, or a low lounge element, or combined with Soft Sofa and Soft Sofa Lounge to create a cohesive lounge setup. The simple, soft expression makes the pouf easy to integrate into both small and large outdoor areas.

The pouf is easy to move yet remains stable once placed, making it practical to use throughout the outdoor space without compromising comfort or function.

Soft Sofa Pouf is built with shredded foam in water-repellent polyester bags, ensuring comfortable seating and long-term shape retention. The cover is available in Sunproof olefin textiles such as Kirra as well as Sunproof Bouclé. Both materials are durable, quick-drying, and UV-resistant, allowing the pouf to withstand sun, wind, and rain and remain outdoors all year.

What is cold foam?

Cold foam is the type of foam most commonly used for furniture upholstery. It is made from polyurethane and is known for its breathability, elasticity, and light weight.

How do I assemble Soft Sofa Outdoor?

The sofa is delivered vacuum-packed. Unpack it, place the foam bags inside the cover, and allow it to expand naturally. You can find a step-by-step setup guide here. Then position the sofa in your preferred configuration.

How long does it take before the sofa is ready to use?

The sofa begins expanding immediately, but it can take up to 72 hours for the filling to fully settle into shape. Allow it to rest and it will gradually reach its final form.

Can I assemble it alone?

Yes. The modules are easy to handle and require no tools. However, it may be slightly easier if two people do it together.

Can I change the configuration?

Yes. Soft Sofa Outdoor is designed to be flexible, allowing you to change the configuration if your needs change. The corner module can be mirrored and is therefore not limited to a right or left side.

Materials

Cold foam

Cold foam is a high-quality foam with an open-cell structure that provides both excellent support and high breathability. It works with the body rather than against it. You sink in comfortably without losing support, and the furniture retains its shape – even with everyday use.

We chose cold foam because it has a significantly longer lifespan than many softer foam types. Where conventional foam may collapse over time, cold foam maintains its resilience and structure. This ensures consistent comfort year after year, without the seat feeling flat or worn.

At the same time, cold foam is highly resistant to pressure. It withstands repeated use, movement, and weight without losing its properties, making it ideal for furniture designed for daily life – not just for looks. That is why we offer a 5-year warranty* on all our furniture.

Boucle

Our bouclé fabric is made from high quality acrylic. The small loops in the yarn create a soft and lively texture with a look reminiscent of lambswool. This adds a warm and tactile character to the furniture while the material is developed for outdoor use.

Acrylic is naturally UV resistant and has a very high lightfastness rating of 8 on a scale from 1 to 8, which is the highest classification. This means the colours maintain their clarity even after prolonged exposure to sunlight. At the same time, the material is resistant to moisture and can withstand both chlorine and salt water, making it suitable for outdoor environments near pools, terraces and the sea.

The fabric is durable and tested for high resistance to everyday use while remaining easy to maintain and clean. The Champagne fabric is made from organically certified textile, ensuring the material is produced under controlled conditions. A thoughtful material choice that combines comfort, durability and a calm, elegant look for outdoor living.

Olefin

Most of our outdoor fabrics, including Kirra, Cobana and Reesse, are made from olefin, a material that is particularly well suited for outdoor living. Olefin is available in different qualities, and we have chosen one of the best on the market from Sunproof, ensuring that the material maintains both its color and strength over time, even with intensive use and exposure to sun and weather.

The material is developed to withstand the demands of outdoor use and is characterized by:

  • Color fastness of 7–8 on a scale of 8, meaning the material will not fade in the sun in practice
  • High UV resistance, preventing the material from degrading over time when exposed to sunlight
  • Resistance to mold, mildew, stains, and abrasion
  • Water-repellent and quick-drying properties, making it suitable for changing weather conditions
  • Also used in maritime environments, among the most demanding conditions, underlining its durability

Olefin is also easy to maintain and simple to clean. As the material does not absorb moisture, mold and mildew cannot develop, making it ideal for everyday outdoor use without hassle.

Durable materials

When you invest in an outdoor sofa, it should stand up to sun, rain, and wind. Soft Sofa is upholstered in a tightly woven Sunproof outdoor fabric and is available in Olefin or Sunproof Bouclé (100% acrylic). Both textiles are UV-resistant, quick-drying, and resistant to mould. With very high lightfastness, the colours remain true over time.

The filling consists of cold foam packed in water-repellent polyester bags. This ensures lasting comfort and a long service life. With a Martindale abrasion rating of 80,000+, the fabric is extremely durable, helping the sofa maintain its appearance season after season.

The Soft Sofa is delivered compressed and vacuum-packed. This makes transportation both space-saving and more sustainable. Set-up is intuitive and quick - cut a hole in the wrapping and watch it inflate. Place the included bags of foam in the cover and your Soft Sofa is ready to use.
