Cobana Lounge Chair is an outdoor lounge chair that withstands sun, wind and rain. Together with the Canvas Lounge Chair, it is among our bestsellers with more than 150,000 bean bags sold. Combined with the Cobana Pouf, available separately or as a set, it creates a flexible lounge setup for terrace, garden or living space.

It builds on everything that made the original bean bag popular, but in a firmer and more shape-retaining version. This is not a classic bean bag with a loose inner bag of beads that move around freely. The filling is integrated into the construction, helping the chair maintain its shape while providing stable support for your back and body.

Inside, it is still filled with EPS beads. Over time, they naturally compress, making the chair softer. That is part of the comfort. If it ever feels too flat, you can easily refill it and restore the volume. This keeps it flexible and long-lasting.

Cobana Lounge Chair is made from durable, water-repellent and lightfast fabric with a lightfastness rating of 7 to 8 on a scale from 1 to 8. It can stay outside all summer in sun and rain and works equally well indoors. It is also available in a dedicated indoor version and can be complemented with a matching pouf.

Note: Cobana Lounge Chair is firmly filled when you receive it and may feel a little hard the first few times you use it. The EPS beads settle after a short period of use, and the chair becomes softer and more comfortable. The firm filling helps the chair keep its shape for longer.

Note: The handle at the back of the chair is a decorative detail and should not be used to move the chair. We recommend lifting the whole chair instead to avoid damaging the fabric.

Maintenance

After rain, we recommend tipping the chair so water can run off and the chair can dry faster.

During winter, we recommend storing the chair indoors and protected from the cold.

For the best result, we recommend cleaning with our Textile Cleaner. Although the cover is removable, we do not recommend machine washing, as the hand-sewn stitches may be damaged.
