Cobana Lounge Chair
Cobana Lounge Chair is an indoor and outdoor bean bag chair in durable, water-repellent and lightfast olefin fabric. The filling is built into the construction, so the chair keeps its shape and supports your back. Use it on the terrace in summer and in the living room in winter, on its own or together with a matching pouf.
Use it outdoors and indoors
Make Cobana Lounge Chair your favourite spot in the sun when the weather is good. When the grey weather returns, move it inside in front of the wood stove and create the perfect cosy corner. Use it in the living room, in the kids’ room, in the garden and on the terrace – just move it!
Durable materials
The bean bag chair is made to be used (a lot). Cobana Lounge Chair is for both adults and children and quickly becomes the family’s favourite spot. That is why it is made from high-quality materials that last for years: durable fabric, a YKK zip and non-toxic EPS beads. Sit down, enjoy life and relax!
Combinable
Combine the Cobana bean bag chair with a matching pouf for extra foot support, for when your legs really need to rest.
Use the pouf as an extra seat or as a small tray table, side table or bedside table together with sackit Serving Tray – a design that moves with you and can always be changed, so the pouf keeps bringing joy.
A bean bag chair that can stay outside all summer
Cobana Lounge Chair is sewn from 100% olefin. The fabric is water-repellent and has a lightfastness of 7–8 on a scale from 1 to 8, so the colours hold up in the sun. It also withstands salt and chlorine water. After a rain shower, you can tip the chair so the water runs off. It dries quickly because the fabric does not absorb the water.
Shape-retaining – not a classic bean bag
The chair is made of two bags joined with Velcro. When you sit in one, the other is pushed up and supports your back. Inside there are approx. 300 litres of non-toxic EPS beads. The chair is firmly filled on delivery and becomes softer as the beads settle. If it feels too flat over time, it can be refilled.
Dimensions and comfort
Cobana Lounge Chair measures 96 × 80 × 70 cm. The seat height is 40 cm and the seat depth is 55 cm. The chair weighs approx. 6 kg, so it is easy to move between garden, balcony and living room.
Combine with a pouf
Cobana Pouf measures 50 × 35 cm and can be used as a footstool, an extra seat or a small side table together with a tray. If you want both, you can choose Cobana Lounge Chair & Pouf as a set.
Caring for the chair out of season
We recommend storing the chair indoors in winter. If you don’t have room, it can stay outside, but we recommend protecting it with a water-repellent winter cover for Cobana Lounge Chair and a winter cover for Cobana Pouf.
FAQ – Frequently asked questions
Is Cobana Lounge Chair for adults or children?
Cobana Lounge Chair suits both adults and children and is made to be used by the whole family. For smaller children there is Cobana Junior Lounge Chair, which suits children up to 10–12 years and has a seat height of 35 cm.
How do I choose the right colour?
If you are unsure about one of the colours, you can, depending on the fabric you are interested in, order a Kirra/Renesse fabric sample or a Cobana fabric sample and see the colour in your own surroundings before you order.
What do I do in winter if I don’t have room indoors?
We recommend indoor storage. If that is not possible, the chair and the pouf can be protected with a custom-made, water-repellent winter cover.
Is there room for Cobana Lounge Chair on a balcony?
The chair takes up 96 × 80 cm of floor space and is 70 cm high. With a Cobana Pouf in front (50 cm), you should allow approx. 1.5 metres in length. Measure your balcony and remember to leave room to get in and out of the chair.
Can it stand on a very windy balcony?
The chair weighs approx. 6 kg. On a high or very exposed balcony, it is a good idea to place it in a sheltered spot or take it inside when it is very windy.
Can I move the chair between the living room and the terrace myself?
Yes, the chair is easy to move in and out, as it weighs approx. 6 kg. Lift the whole chair instead of pulling the handle on the back, which is only a decorative detail.
Should I choose the chair on its own or together with the pouf?
The chair works well on its own. The pouf lets you put your feet up and can also be used as an extra seat or side table. The pouf can also be bought separately later, and most colours are available for both the chair and the pouf.
