Steffensen & Würtz

Steffensen & Würtz is a Danish design duo made up of Thomas Steffensen and Pia Würtz. Their goal is to design products that are not only beautiful and long-lasting but also make sense in everyday life.
They are inspired by Danish design traditions and focus on clean lines, smart functions, and timeless style. Every detail has a purpose – to create designs that last and feel right to use.

About the designers

Thomas and Pia met while studying at Aalborg University. They believe that good design should make life simpler and more enjoyable. Their style is calm and thoughtful, helping to reduce visual and mental noise.
They work closely together – and with the companies they design for – to turn good ideas into clear, honest products that fit into everyday life.
From furniture to lighting, their work is always about improving how we live, one detail at a time.

Working with SACKit

Steffensen & Würtz have been part of the SACKit journey from the very beginning. Over the years, they’ve helped define our expression and values – and today, our design DNA is closely intertwined.
They have designed some of our most popular products, including bar stools, outdoor furniture, and wireless lamps for both indoor and outdoor use.
Their signature style is clear, functional, and timeless – created to look great and perform well for years to come. The collaboration is built on shared values: high quality, thoughtful design, and products that make a difference in everyday life.

At SACKit, we collaborate with carefully selected designers who share our passion for functionality, aesthetics, and long-lasting design. We work with a few chosen creatives who help shape the SACKit expression, and each designer leaves a significant mark on our collections.
